Elizabeth "Libby" Sobota has been a certified public accountant for almost 20 years and has been the principal of Dittrick and Associates, Inc. since 2000. She oversees all operations of Dittrick and Associates, Inc. together with the help of her eminently qualified staff.
She began her accounting career in the tax department of Arthur Andersen and Company in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1990. After five tax seasons at Arthur Andersen, she became a manager at a regional accounting firm with offices in Burton and Solon. She started Dittrick and Associates, Inc. on September 25, 2000.
Elizabeth graduated from Dartmouth College in 1983 with a degree in Mathematics and Earth Science. After working for the United States Geological Survey for two years, she returned to school at Kent State University to take accounting courses. She passed the CPA exam in the fall of 1988. She has two children; her son graduated in 2008 from Dartmouth College and her daughter graduated in 2009 from Hobart and William Smith Colleges. She is married and lives with her husband and two cats in Chagrin Falls.
